Red River House: Whiteson Family 2015

April 15, 2015

March 27 – April 15, 2015

Heidi, Kevin, and Greg,

Our ability to live at Red River House greatly exceeded our expectations in many ways.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the warm, very comfortable apartment. Compared to any hotel, it was spacious, comfortable in an unparalleled setting on the Zumbro River — eagles, turkeys, Canadian geese were all a part of the setting.

Jill and I thank Heidi & Kevin for their warmth and sharing with us at Easter and for our entire stay.

Serenity House Network delivered a place to stay that was truly a blessing for us.

Thank you all,

Ben and Jill Whiteson (Chesterfield, MO)

White River House Aquila Apt: Porter Family 2015

April 15, 2015

Here we are again, third time to this lovely house and country scenery.

Mark had his second stem cell transplant. We were so excited to come back to somewhere familiar and comforting. Mark was in the hospital for a little while this time, so I was able to rest, recoup, and go back to see him.

Aquila Apartment is truly a blessing for families when they are going through difficult situations.

Thank you so much!

Mark & Brinda Porter

Johnston House Sierra Apt: Vande Hey Family 2015

January 22 – April 9, 2015

It’s been a sincere pleasure staying at Sierra. The home is beautiful, clean, and safe. We had no worries, only an excellent experience!

The Serenity House Network team was the best to work with. They accommodated our every need. We couldn’t be more satisfied and would highly recommend SHN to everyone in need of short and long term housing needs.

The privacy needed during recovery can only be found in the personal setting Serenity House Network offers. Please check them out, we promise you’ll enjoy!

Serenity House Brigid Apt: Stipetich Family 2015

April 8, 2015

March 2 – April 8, 2015

Dear Greg and Serenity House Network Angels,

Words do not adequately express our gratitude and appreciation for the beautiful home you provided for Katie and I during her stem cell transplant. We truly believe the Spirit led us to your wonderful service as I searched the internet for a place to call home during our stay in Rochester.

Thank you, thank you for your support during our time here. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and were PERFECT!

We hope we don’t need your services again, but if God’s plan requires more time in Rochester, we will see you again.

Thank you for you wonderful service. May God bless your work and your families.

Sincerely,

Stipetich Family

Gauthier House: Montano Family 2015

April 7, 2015

Dear Serenity House Network and The Gauthier Family,

Thank you so much for making our stay in Rochester comfortable.

We stayed here while attending the Mayo Pediatric Pain Rehab Clinic. When we spoke with Greg, he told us that this place would be “life altering” and it was! The program was amazing and challenging. It was so good to have a home to come to after a long day. It gave us a sense of normalcy during a time of uncertainty.

We can’t say enough about all the little things that showed us Serenity House Network cared about us — from the dining gift cards to the special delivery of pie for Steve’s birthday.

God bless you all,

Terese, Steve, & Hunter Montano (Mukwonago, WI)

City View Sanctuary: Gosselin Family 2015

April 3, 2015

April 2015

My fiancé and I are so grateful for everything Serenity House Network had to offer us!

Chris was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma for the second time within a two year span and required a stem cell transplant. The City View Sanctuary was exactly what we needed for his 36 day stay in Rochester.

We are so thankful we found SHN and the opportunity they gave us to stay here — it was our home away from home. It was in a perfect location within walking distance for his many daily appointments. The view, especially at night, was ideal for Chris when he couldn’t sleep — very relaxing. There is a “Hometown” grocery store located behind City View that was very convenient and the workers are extremely friendly. The Hollywood 12 movie theater wasn’t too expensive for the days/nights we wanted to get out.

Thank you again,

Chris Gosselin & Andrea Gullickson (Granite Falls, MN)

Baptist Hospitality House: Nightengale Family 2015

March 23, 2015

February 12 – March 23, 2015

My husband, Josh, was the recipient of a stem cell transplant for a very rare blood cancer called Poems Syndrome. The treatment and recovery were daunting at the very least; and we were so blessed to be able to come HOME to the Baptist Hospitality House at the end of day.

Throughout his five weeks here, we were so lucky to have had five different groups of family and friends come to be caregivers. And it was so nice to be able to welcome them here instead of a hotel. The most telling statement is that at the end of each day at Mayo, all our guests would say, “let’s go home.”

BHH has made each one of us feel safe, comfortable, welcomed and cared for … and for that we are eternally grateful.

Alwood House Scott Apt: Huesman Family 2015

March 20, 2015

February 22 – March 20, 2015

Thank you, Thank you, and then Thanks again!

This place has been a true blessing. From the moment I walked inside, I knew this was our Rochester home. The duplex has been a wonderful place. We all had room to move around and continue with routines like our family breakfast and a few meals around the table.

Thanks for all the kind “extras,” making our time in Rochester enjoyable as well as making us feel loved. We appreciate and will always remember our “home away from home” during our Pain Rehabilitation Clinic experience.

God bless all in this ministry!

Todd, Susan & Nick Huesman

Gauthier House: Friesen Family 2015

March 14, 2015

February 15 – March 14

Dearest Gauthier Family,

Much thanks to your family. My mom and I appreciated your beautiful home so much as I attended the Pain Rehabilitation Center program at Mayo. It was so nice to have a “home” to come to after such long days there. Serenity House Network even delivered a pie of my choice on my birthday.

I wish you all the best!

God bless you all,
