I was in need of a bone marrow transplant and an extended stay in Rochester. My daughters found the ad for Serenity House Network and we are very happy to have made it our choice for our stay.

It was very comfortable, and had a home-like atmosphere. Family and friends were easily able to come visit, and everyone could easily relax and visit in a great private location. Accommodations are very comfortable and Greg is easy to reach and help with any issues that arise.

We are planning on heading home in the next day or so but our stay here could not have been better. I would recommend this as a great option to anyone in need of a comfortable place to stay. My family and I have nothing but good things to say — and it made the whole experience much easier to deal with.

Dear Tara’s Place and Serenity House Network,

We happened upon SHN in a brochure — you were an answer to prayer. We needed to check-out from where we were staying, but still were in need of housing. After a phone call, prayer, and a return call, we were in Tara’s Place.

My son is here with a spinal tumor. After surgery he needed much physical therapy to relearn how to walk. This house is a blessing. With my son’s wife and children with me, it made it possible for him to heal and learn having family around him each day.

Thank you for this ministry. May God use this house to bless many more in difficult times.

We are getting ready to leave Serenity House Network and Rochester and we will close the door to an experience that only God could have known — how much we needed this house, your friendships, your many gifts, the wonderful people at Mayo, our family and friends. We have been blessed. God is so good!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! You made a difficult time so much better. We felt like we were at home. It was a warm and comforting feeling to come home after a long day at the Pain Rehabilitation Center, to a comfortable and relaxing home. We felt like a weight was lifted from us.

Thanks again for providing such a wonderful home. We are certain that it helped in our recovery.

We could not have asked for a more restful place to rest and regain strength for a slate of appointments at Methodist Hospital and Mayo Clinic. It seemed to be exhausting, however, the Red River House has such a soothing attitude; like the Lord is here to get you rested for another run at it. You are all God’s helpers. The Red River House tells you to relax, take it easy with such a homey atmosphere. We feel we were blessed after and during our stay here however short.

Alwood House, Cathy Apartment

What a beautiful place to stay during a stressful time! I don’t always understand the plans God has but I know He is a good, good Father and only wants what is best for his children. I TRUST in Him!

Things didn’t go according to plan while we were here but that’s ok. What God did allow to happen was for me to reconnect with my husband after feeling disconnected for some time because of his illness. For that I am grateful!

Serenity House Network is a great ministry! I pray many blessings come their way and to anyone who stays in this beautiful home!
