Serenity House Network was a blessing to myself and my family. To have a place feel kind of like home was more than I could have asked for.

I want to thank Serenity House Network for being there when we needed you. The doctor’s at Mayo said my son’s surgery would take a few hours and be out of the hospital in 2-3 days. The surgery went well, but his lower GI refused to wake up. They thought he had an infection, maybe a leak, then maybe pneumonia…SHN worked with us to allow us to stay a few more needed days.

SHN kept the driveway clear during the 25 year blizzard. This allowed me to go visit my son. Thank you all for caring and providing a home away from home for Ben to recover in. He was able to properly rest, prepare his special diet and relax during recovery. This is our second time using an SHN home, and we still have more visits ahead. Thanks again for this ministry you have.

Greg, what a pleasure to meet you and stay here with Serenity House Network. It has given my sister Cecilia and I a home away from home with peace and serenity. Thank you very much for caring in this way for patients and families. God bless your good work.

Coming to Mayo in Rochester was one of the hardest things in my life. I had to leave my 3 children and husband for 10 days, the longest ever. However, Greg and our “house mother” have made this one of the easiest transitions ever. Greg met us here and was so kind and helpful. Our “house mother” delivered bread and a sweet note.

My sister and I knew we were here at Serenity House Network by God’s will when we saw items referencing Him everywhere in our apartment. As fearful as I have been, I found such a peace here. Two of my most favorite verses and motto’s were actually located on two decorative pieces in the apartment. I’ve never seen them on anything before. (I’ve shared them below)

I’m praying over this apartment that all who come here find peace, answers and understanding. God Bless you all.

We were so happy to have a nice place to come “home” to during our stay in Rochester. We feel very blessed to have had a Serenity House Network place to stay in during our recovery time. You were such wonderful people to communicate with! Thank you! God Bless you all!

A friend of ours stayed with Serenity House Network years ago and suggested that we see if anything was available for Dennis’ 10 day radiation treatment. We were pleased to find out there was a place available for our time period.

We were in need of three extra nights and Greg was able to make it work at that time.

Our SHN Brigid apartment was cozy, clean, and comfortable! It was our home for 13 nights.

This apartment was exactly what my daughter needed during her 4 weeks of treatment at Mayo. It was so nice to just have to bring clothes and essentials, as everything else we needed was pretty much here. It is a beautiful apartment. With us being 9 hours from home, this really made us feel as normal as possible with her situation.

The staff at Serenity House Network are super friendly as well as those we’ve encountered around town. If we ever need to come here again, staying with SHN will be a must! It’s a quiet neighborhood with exactly what we were looking for.

I love that there are so many comforting little sayings around the apartment. Thank you for having us here!

This is our second visit to Rochester. Our son is awaiting a liver transplant that will be done at Mayo Clinic. He has suffered for many years with primary sclerosing cholangitis, and now he has been diagnosed with cholangiocarcinoma. Fortunately the cancer has not gone outside of the liver. Brian did not get a new liver this visit, we are returning home to PA where we will anxiously wait for the important call from Mayo and be returning to Rochester in the not so distant future.

I would like to thank the owners of the Quincy apartment for providing such a wonderful home away from home for us. Special thanks to Greg, Joanna, Jodie, and June Ann for arranging our lodging for both of these visits. I cannot put into words how very grateful we are for their many acts of kindness throughout both our stays.

Thank you Serenity House Network. We are looking forward to seeing you again relatively soon.

What a wonderful, home-like atmosphere-comfy! It’s close to the clinic and hospital with quick access on the roads. Serenity House Network is a great place to stay!! We appreciate you all.
