In all the chaos of rushing to Mayo Clinic it was such an incredible comfort to have Serenity House Network as a place to stay. This apartment became our base, our place to rest, reset and prepare for all the health hardships that came our way. Our loved one needed a heart and lung transplant and he was able to recover from this life changing surgery in a safe and clean space surrounded by his family.

He came to Rochester in an ambulance unable to move and breathe on his own. He is now carrying boxes up the stairs and loading the car ready to go home. We have been given a miracle and this apartment was part of it. The SHN staff was not only accommodating to our situation but also patient and understanding of the emotional recovery process. We truly found our serenity in Serenity House Network.

We are headed home today after a 5 week stay for a stem cell transplant for myeloma. The Quincy apartment served us well. A comfortable home away from home. The location was so convenient for the daily (sometimes multiple) trips to Mayo. A friendly and quiet neighborhood has been enjoyable. The Grandma’s Kitchen restaurant that was recommended was a favorite. We appreciated the faith based presence of this rental property. Nathaniel and I want to thank you for making our stay so comfortable. It has been a long difficult journey medically. Being here took some of the sting out and made it feel like a home away from home. The day I walked into the bathroom and saw the scripture on the wall “Be still and know that I am God”, I immediately knew we were in the right place. God used that verse many times to remind me He was there guiding us through, but that was the verse He used the day of Nate’s transplant when I felt panicked.

Thank you Serenity House Network for this wonderful ministry! We will recommend you as we have already several times. We will come again if we need an extended stay.

The Doris apartment was the perfect place to recuperate from my surgery. It is so well appointed , cozy and close to the clinic and hospital. Thank you for making my family and me feel so welcome. Blessings.

We spent about 2 months with Serenity House Network in this beautiful home and neighborhood. The home and back yard speak for itself. The owner of the home lives next door. He and his wife are very gracious. We will miss them. This is a great walking neighborhood offering hills and paths. The drive to Mayo Clinic is very short. This home was a home away from home, a great find.

During our time at the Mayo Clinic, the Sierra apartment provided more than just accommodations, it offered a comfortable sanctuary. Managed by Serenity House Network, the apartment was clean, well equipped and incredibly convenient. The staff I spoke to and met (Greg, June Ann, and Denise) were all empathetic and attentive to our needs. It truly set this place apart. It eased the stress of our medical visit.

We are deeply grateful for the peace and support we found at the Johnston House, Sierra apartment. Its highly recommendable for anyone seeking a home away from home near the Mayo Clinic.

We enjoyed our stay here as a place to call “home” for over 3 months. Our son received an organ transplant at Mayo. We appreciate the wonderful kindness we received while staying here. I have to call out June Ann in the office who’s the best!
