The house was so well furnished. I appreciate having everything to cook meals. The commute to Mayo was easy. The neighborhood is quiet.

I thought to be away from home 6 weeks would be hard, but this environment felt like a second home.

Our host next door was very accommodating and responded quickly to any needs at the property. The location was very convenient for the many trips to the clinic. I was glad to have such a comfortable place to recover from the transplant. Thankful the house was well furnished with supplies. The small Christmas tree was a nice touch over the holidays and felt homey. Our grandchildren enjoyed the blankets and say how it “smells like Papa”.

We would like to greatly thank you for putting us up for the past month. It was such a blessing to have a home away from home where we could come and go as we needed. We met so many wonderful people here in Rochester. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and we will always remember the kindness. We are close friends of Ray and Anne who have spent months staying here at Serenity House Network’s Tara’s house, as he’s been getting treatment at the Mayo Clinic. We were so pleased with this beautiful property. The quietness and views were so calming as they recuperate from the daily runs to and from Mayo.

Since our move in and up to our departure, our stay for Matt’s bone marrow transplant and recovery has been paramount in finding some sort of grounded comfort. We are so grateful to have found a space that we could just sink into for this journey.

We’ve felt respected, cared for and supported by the staff or Serenity House Network our entire stay. From being able to move in and checkout a day late and being there if we needed anything; but also left to ourselves and our privacy.

Its been a long arduous journey from August to November. We both believe having SHN to come home to after long days at Mayo has hugely assisted in his recovery. We are very happy to say he is in remission and his bone marrow transplant has engrafted.

We have loved it here and are also so grateful to be leaving. Thanks again for everything!

Thank you for this home away from home. It has all the comforts one could ask for and the mattress is great for my back, nice and firm. I felt safe here and it is close and convenient to St. Mary’s hospital for my 3 week stay attending the pain rehab clinic. It is wonderful that you made Serenity House Network a place for patients of Mayo to stay at a reasonable price. I’m glad I was able to get in. Bless you.

Staying here made our time in Rochester quiet and relaxing while recovering from a kidney transplant. Thank you for all your kindness.

Lillian apartment was a perfect choice in a quiet neighborhood. Having the opportunity to take daily walks on beautiful fall days was therapeutic for patient and caregiver. We looked forward to returning to the apartment after long days at Mayo.
