I am extremely grateful to the Serenity House Network and for the opportunity to recover in Evy’s House. What a beautiful and relaxing place to heal.

I was diagnosed with uterine cancer on April 28, 2017 and am so thankful that I was able to be treated at the #1 hospital in the country – Mayo Clinic. While no surgery is ever fun, I am so thankful to the amazing and kind surgeon and nurses. To then be able to recover in this beautiful and clean house for the next week was perfect. This house had plenty of room for myself, my husband and mother-in-law.

The backyard was beautiful and relaxing too! I hadn’t seen a firefly, squirrel and cardinal in ages.

Thank you so much to everyone who makes the Serenity House Network run so smoothly. I LOVE Evy’s House!

Thank you for providing a nice, quiet home for my wife to recover in. The Serenity House Network is a wonderful organization. My wife was diagnosed with cancer and we decided to have her surgery at the Mayo Clinic because it is the #1 rated hospital in America.

Serenity House Network was our first choice and helped alleviate our stress about finding a place to stay and recover. I hope the spirit of Serenity House Network catches on, and is replicated throughout the country. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. The house is comfortable and so clean it reminds me of my grandma’s house. The entire city of Rochester is great. I am elated with my experience here. After spending time out in the cool Rochester weather, I don’t want to go back to Las Vegas.

Wow, what a wonderful, peaceful place to stay while my daughter-in-law recovered from cancer surgery! So grateful NOT to stay at a hotel with maid interruptions and noisy hallways or neighbors. This certainly is a home conducive to healing – a beam of sunshine during a journey no one wanted to take.

This was the ideal place for us to stay for my daughter’s spinal fusion. Everything we needed in a “home away from home”! So fortunate to have found Serenity House Network. We passed it on to our wonderful surgical staff at Mayo Clinic as a recovery place for others. Thank you for all your caring and kindness towards Sydney!

It is hard to find words to describe our stay at the Julianna Apartment in Sunny Place Cottage. I remember the first night here after my husband was released from Mayo Clinic, following a kidney transplant with dual nephrectomy on May 11th…the overwhelming feeling of comfort and peace as we settled in.

Every day of his recovery was blessed as he rested in a comfortable, cozy, cheerful home away from home. Jodie and Greg, thank you for answering God’s call to create the Serenity House Network. You have, and will continue to bless patients and families like us. Our recovery and stay in Rochester was blessed and affected beyond our expectations.

While we cannot wait to go home today, after 6 weeks, we can honestly say that we will miss this place and all the SHN staff who walked beside us during this most difficult journey.

This is our second time to rent a fully furnished apartment from Serenity House Network and this experience is just as wonderful as the first time!

My mother is due for a follow-up check up following her nephrectomy earlier this year and we didn’t think of staying anywhere else but with Serenity House Network.

Thank you, again, for all the hospitality given to us during our stay. We will definitely come back to Serenity House Network again in the future!

Thank you so very much for a home away from home. Although our stay wasn’t as long as we first thought it was going to be, it was so nice to be able to come back between appointments and feel like we were sitting in our own living room.

Thank you so much for the wonderful housing and hospitality! We were very nervous and apprehensive when we had to “move” to Rochester for almost a month. Stepping into Annie’s Patient Hospitality House and meeting Jodie eased our fears and made us feel like we had a home away from home.

Our daughter celebrated her birthday while she was receiving treatment here and SHN helped make her feel special by surprising her with a birthday pie. The puzzles, games, and movies provided for us to use made our time at the apartment go much faster and allowed us to relax at night.

Thank you for thinking of everything and making a stressful time a little less stressful.

We were so grateful to have been able to have the opportunity to stay at the Cathy Apartment. My surgery was a last-minute decision and trying to find housing was difficult. When I was discharged from the hospital I still had a long recovery.

I had peace of mind knowing I had a restful place to heal. The apartment was wonderful, comfortable, clean and our hosts were great!
