Sunny Place Cottage is a side-by-side duplex comprised of the James apartment and the Julianna apartment. Julianna is a private, fully furnished 2-bedroom apartment. Julianna offers main-floor living and has an eat-in kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large living room with flat-screen TV, 2 recliners, hide-a-bed, a full bath, computer alcove and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom has 1 Queen bed and an additional flat-screen TV. The second bedroom has 1 Full bed. Julianna shares the laundry area and 4-season porch with the James Apartment. Julianna’s outdoor space contains Adirondack chairs and a small patio area.

My journey has been hard and long. It started July 8, 2012 and I will be going home April 28, 2013. I have been in Rochester this whole time. I came here due to congestive heart failure and plenty of fluid on board. In September, I received an LVAD to keep my heart going until a transplant is ready for me.
Being at Serenity House Network has been so healing – a very wonderful home setting. It’s quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. I can tell God is in this place and all of the SHN homes.
Greg and Jodie have been great friends and great help to my parents who have been taking care of me. We have shared dinners and treats while we were here.
