Serenity House is the original Serenity House Network home. It was completely remodeled in 2008 and updated in 2020. It is a duplex-style, split-level home with 2 apartments: Brigid and Patrick. Each is 1100 square feet. Serenity House is a 10-minute drive from Mayo Clinic and is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with mature trees.
Brigid is a private, fully furnished 1100 sq. ft. apartment on the lower level of Serenity House. Brigid has an eat-in kitchen, 2 large bedrooms, bath with shower, and a living room with gas fireplace, flat-screen TV and a recliner. The master bedroom has 1 King bed and a sitting area with a second flat-screen TV. The second bedroom has 1 Queen and 1 twin bed. Brigid shares the laundry area with the Patrick Apartment. One attached garage stall with remote included.

Serenity House Brigid Apt: Moore Family 2015
Our journey to the Brigid Apartment started with a phone call answered by Greg. His kindness and willingness to listen made me know that my son and I needed to stay at a Serenity House Network home for our upcoming three and a half week visit to Mayo. I was thrilled that there was an apartment available that matched our appointment dates.
Upon arrival, we felt the assurance that this was going to be the perfect “home away from home” for us. The HUGE bedrooms, full kitchen, and comfy recliner made us so comfortable. And having two televisions kept each of us smiling that we did not have to share the much-needed “down time.” I even found time to read a book from the array of choices on the bookshelves, “Tuesdays With Morrie” by Mitch Albom, which helped me settle down each evening after a full day at Mayo.
