The Alwood House is a side-by-side duplex comprised of the Scott apartment and the Cathy apartment. The Cathy Apartment is a main-level fully furnished apartment just a short drive to Mayo Clinic & St. Mary’s Hospital. The eat-in kitchen is furnished with Corian countertops. The living room includes a recliner, flat-screen TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom has a queen bed and an additional flat screen TV. The second bedroom has a full size bed and desk area. Recent updates include new siding in 2025. The Cathy Apartment also has free full-size washer & dryer inside the unit. One detached garage stall with remote included.

Alwood House, Cathy Apartment
We felt fortunate to have this nice apartment to stay in while I was recovering from a bone marrow transplant. It was cozy and comfortable and just the right size for us. The best part was coming back here each day after the busy schedule at Mayo and having our own quiet space to relax in.
