This is an exciting time for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike! This is when the eagles are most active, and you&#8217;re most likely to see them flying around and nesting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Where to Go<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"426\" height=\"240\" src=\"https:\/\/dev2.rezstudio.com\/lighthouselanding\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/image-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dev2.rezstudio.com\/lighthouselanding\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/image-2.jpg 426w, https:\/\/dev2.rezstudio.com\/lighthouselanding\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/image-2-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 426px) 100vw, 426px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are a few hot spots around Kentucky Lake where the eagles like to roost. <a href=\"https:\/\/dev2.rezstudio.com\/lighthouselanding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lighthouse Landing Resort &amp; Marina<\/a> is home to a scenic area along the banks of Kentucky Lake with magnificent views and breathtaking wildlife. Visitors can look out over miles of water from the comfort of their cottage and watch as majestic eagles soar overhead. The eagles come to Kentucky Lake every winter for food and shelter, so chances are you won\u2019t have any trouble finding them!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the LBL Woodlands Nature Station will host <a href=\"https:\/\/www.explorekentuckylake.com\/events\/show-event.php?ID=9491\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">eagle viewing van tours<\/a> throughout February 2023. This three-hour tour will allow you to explore the eagles\u2019 and other winter birds\u2019 favorite roosting spots. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another great spot for eagle watching is at <a href=\"https:\/\/landbetweenthelakes.us\/stewardship\/wildlife-viewing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area<\/a>.
